Change Colors to Black
Slip Stitch in each stitch around and join with a slip stitch. Fasten Off
Assembly
Pin face and horns in place before attaching to ensure proper placement. I like to sew the pupils on to the eyes before I sew the eyes onto the body.
This is easier if the head is stuffed.
Stuff Body, Sew legs to bottom feet facing forward. The unused leg stitches with form a center seam. Sew up the seam between the legs.
Stuff the arms up to the bottom of the last hunter green band. Fold open edges together and sew to the sides of the body two rows down from beginning of top hunter green band
Have fun, take him everywhere because he is huge.

He is approximately 2 feet tall if not a little bigger. I went a little overboard on the size of this one. Have fun.
Thank you soooooo much for this! I have been trying to find a pattern to make a brobee for my 1 year old daughter. I will most definetly send you a picture of my finished product! I made this pattern with a slightly bigger needle (size G) and he ended up huge! He was easily as big as the two year old I made him for. It was pretty awesome to present her with a life-sized Brobee. Thanks.

LOVE! I’ve been looking for a Brobee pattern for my son who will be 2 soon. I made him a Muno already! AND WE LOVE HUGE! lol!

I am going to start this today, but am going to switch up the colors. Do not have enough of any of my greens to do it and do not want to go out in the cold. He is going to be a big mishmash of colors. We will see how he turns out.

So you did first 18 sc,then increase 1sc 3 times in the same row and then you did another row the same .

You continue the stitches around on the other side. The set up row had you crocheting 18 into your start chain, making three stitches in the last chain. Then you use the unused loops from the start chain (the reverse side) and repeat. Both sides of the set up chain are used.
How did you do your set up row, as I think that might be the issue?

All I can say is, I don’t get it. I have been crocheting for over 40 yrs and this just don’t add up. That is probably why that one woman’s Brobee turned out so big. She had to play with the stitches to make it right in the corners.
Brobee is supposed to be huge. He is almost 3 feet tall when finished. I would be happy to make the pattern clearer if there is a specific question to tell me what the problem is. The patterns are offered for free and I don’t have testers. Comments with specific problems or issues help me and others with the patterns. Comments like this are counterproductive.
OK…so on the area for the head where it says 30 rows sc with spring green is that 30 more rows or continue from row 12
It is 30 more rows of the Spring Green. This puts the head in proportion to the rest of his stripes.

I just finished all my increases in the head and I’m starting on my rounds. After seeing all the comments about being confused on the increases, I thought I’d share a tip that worked for me. Mark the first increases at each end of the work with a contrasting yarn scrap or stitch marker. This will help you realize where those first stitches are so when you come back around you know where to put your next increases. I only had to do this for the first few rounds….then it was all counting! I hope this helps! Thank you so much for the free pattern! I can’t wait to finish this and give it to my daughter for her 2nd birthday!
