I am reconfiguring the blog. I am adding an available patterns page which should consolidate all the patterns free and for sale in one place. I am using Craftsy for the store. I am so glad I started using Craftsy. It is a great resource to learn new things (I am thinking cake decorating for my wedding cake).
I also started a plushy store on Etsy to sell my completed stuffed animals. My house is starting to get overrun and I won’t be able to work in my office much longer with all these animals crowding me. Plus I need room for the Chihuahuas to hang out.
I’ve created a lot of new patterns. They are being tested and will hopefully be up soon.
I appear to be on a monster kick. I think I like them because they can be whatever is in my head. If it doesn’t turn out exactly like my sketch, it is no big deal because hey it’s a monster.
I’ve drafted the pattern in a usable format instead of my chicken scratch notes.
Please be advised that I haven’t tested this pattern, but I am pretty sure there are no errors in it.
Let me know if you have questions.

Beebs – the Monster
I am taking the design your own monster class on Craftsy. It inspired me to create this guy over the weekend. I couldn’t resist all the eyes. Everything I sketched had crazy eyes. I still need to run through my pattern and take how to pictures before I can post the pattern. I think this one is going to be a free one. Hopefully I’ll have it up next week, provided the kids have school every day this week. A girl can dream.
A long time ago I designed one of my first patterns. June the lady bug. She was sweet, cute and looked very much like a regular old lady bug (other than being much larger).
Then I changed her colors for a baby shower where the baby’s room was pink and brown.
Recently I was reworking the pattern so I could make it available for digital download. It was very dreary and cold here. I couldn’t wait for spring so I made June in very bright colors.
I still need to work on my photography. I’m getting better, but they still aren’t my favorite.
Remember these guys?
Silas the snail –
and Lennie the Jellyfish –
Well someone liked them so much, they put them in a book.
The Jellyfish is on page 12 and the snail is on page 104.
I am a huge dork and keep carrying a copy of the book around to show family and friends.
Also, I started designing again. I’m working out the kinks of my newest pattern and I will post it soon to get testers.
