I present Mango and Tango. Tango is taking his monster lady friend out on the town dancing. Here’s hoping their tails don’t get tangled.
I tried new things on these two. I added eyelids:
And I used doll eyelashes. This shows Mango without her lashes:
I’m still deciding whether I like the eyelashes or not.
The pattern will be free for two weeks. Let me know if you have any issues, problems or if anything is confusing. I have several more monsters in the works. If these two aren’t your favorites, I’m sure I’ll eventually find one you like. Also, I will be breaking it up as follows: Three sets of monster patterns and then something else for one week, repeat. This is until I get tired of monsters.
Thanks to everyone who tried out the pattern. I didn’t get any complaints so I’m going to post it to Etsy, Ravelry and Craftsy.
The new monster pattern Seneca will be up today.
Here’s how this works. This pattern will be up for 2 weeks for testing. Please let me know if you find any errors or anything is unclear or hard to follow.
Meet Bonnie and Clyde. They are monsters in love. Bonnie still isn’t done in these photos. She will have the same mouth as Clyde.
I think they are super cute and super fun. Let me know what you think.
update 7/24/15 Thank you to every one who tested the pattern. I’m still open to hearing any issues that might have been found while testing. The pattern is no longer free and is available for sale at Ravelry, Craftsy, and Etsy.
I am working on new patterns and revamping the blog. The current plan is every other Friday, post a pattern for testing purposes. I’ll leave it up for two weeks, please send me comments letting me know if you found any errors. Then after two weeks, it will be taken down and a new pattern will be put up for testing. The patterns will have more photos (hopefully – I really hate stopping to take pictures), and more color options. I like making things in more than one color scheme to see how they work.
I am hoping to start making kits as well to purchase everything you need to make your own DrunkenAuntWendy creations.
The first new pattern is set to go up on July 10th. It is a fun, funky little monster that I have really had fun making.
I can’t wait to see what you think.
