My nieces are crazy about this show! Thank you so much for sharing!

  2. wmthornb says:

Thank you so much. I hope you have as much fun making him as I did designing him.

  3. how big is he finished?

  4. Andi says:

    Dear Wendy,
thanks a lot for your pattern and the great effort to make it for other people. Made Brobee and Muno for the kids from friends. Think they will be very happy to get. So it sounds very nice that you are working on the pattern for Foofa because I have to make a present for three kids 🙂

    best regards from Munich, Germany
    Andi

Sry about my bad english o_O

    • wmthornb says:

      Andi:

Thank you so much for your kind words. Foofa is really only a half a leg away from being done. I hope to get the pattern up here within the next two weeks. I hope the kids like their presents.

      Wendy

Your english is better than quite a few native speakers so I wouldn’t apologize.

    • wmthornb says:

Andi, the Foofa pattern is up. Have fun.

  5. Bev says:

Can’t wait to see pattern. Have three nieces crazy about Yo Gabba Gabba. Hoping to make them the set in time for Christmas. Thanks so much! Made my Christmas list a tad shorted. Best Bev

    • wmthornb says:

      Bev,

Good luck. These patterns make huge stuffed plushies. Due to the time constraints, If you want to go smaller you can check out Crafty is Cool. Her’s are about 12″ tall instead of my giant ones. I will get the Foofa pattern up this weekend and I am currently working on Plex.

Thank you so much for following me.

      Wendy

  6. Crochet freak says:

I LOVE your Yo Gabba Gabba plushies! One day I am going to make these for my son and his cousin. I can’t wait for Plex! Awesome work!

  7. the awesome Auntie April says:

Thank you thank you thank you for coming with this pattern.. I will post a pic of this when I am done making this for my little one for Christmas.. I have been looking for this like crazy.. Is this going to be the same size as Brobe and Muno dolls? If so this is so freaken great!!!! Thanks again for coming up with the pattern…

  8. Mariko says:

These are SO cute. Surprisingly large, but I think that makes them more fun. Looking forward to making them, and I can’t wait for Plex too!!

  9. April says:

Hi Wendy!! I think this is so wonderful that you came up with this pattern. I just have a couple of questions for you. 1, how many skiens of the pink yarn did you use? Also I caught a typo for you. on the leggs part it says body instead of feet.. Just wanted to let you know. Thanks.. I will send you a picture of how mine looks when it is done..

    • wmthornb says:

      April:

Thanks so much. I was using the 7oz skeins from Hobby Lobby. To be on the safe side get at least 3. I look for the typo. Thanks so much for telling me about it. Plex is almost done, I hope to have him up on the blog soon.

I can’t wait to see your pictures.

      Wendy

  10. Kristine says:

I absolutely love your Yo Gabba Gabba series. I hope you are able to do them all, and hopefully I can start working on them. Both my kids just love that show and it would be great for Christmas.
I was looking back through the archive and fell in love with alot of your others (especially angry birds and boob scarf).
Keep up the beautiful work, will send pics if I can find time to work . 🙂

    • wmthornb says:

Kristine, thank you so much. If you are making them for Christmas I’d start now. They are huge :). Plex will be up soon and then I’ll start on the blue one. I’ll try to post more.

  11. Bev says:

Too cute! I love all your work. My nieces will go crazy when they finally get the set I have been making from your patterns.

  12. She is so cute. Thank you very much for sharing :o)

  13. Crochet Freak says:

I can’t wait to see it!! My son LOVES plex and it is hard finding good patterns for him. You do amazing work!

    • wmthornb says:

I hope to have it done soon. I have one more to go after this. If you need one soon, craftyiscool has a really good patterns that are already done. Thank you for the compliment. I really appreciate it.

  14. backtobusk says:

Im a vegatarian and I think that is awesome!

  15. Teal says:

Thank you soooooo much for this! I have been trying to find a pattern to make a brobee for my 1 year old daughter. I will most definetly send you a picture of my finished product! So far it is turning out great. Personally I love the size of this thing, just makes it more of a snuggle pillow. 🙂 Thanks again!!! 😀

    • wmthornb says:

I can’t wait to see it. I only warn of the size for those who think they are getting something small or want a quick project.

I’m so glad you like it.

  16. Auntie April says:

Hi Wendy, I did finish the doll. She took some where around 5 pounds of pillow stuffing. This doll go everywhere with us. She was a big hit at Hobby lobby the other night. Let me know if you would like to see the pics. I can email them to you… See ya April

    • wmthornb says:

      April,

Thanks so much, I know she is absolutely huge. The little ones I make them for like having toys their own size. I’d love pictures. If you don’t mind me posting them, I’ll put them up on the blog. My email is wendythornburg@yahoo.com.

      Thanks again,

      Wendy

Totally going to make one for my boyfriend- The Michigan Fan! Hahahahaha

  19. andrea says:

    Has this pattern been tested?

I love it, but I keep running into problems on the legs.

    • wmthornb says:

I’ve made it twice from the pattern and a couple of other people have made it from the pattern. This is the first I’m hearing of problems. If you tell me where you are having trouble, maybe I can help you sort it out.

I really love to help you out and to clarify anything in the pattern that may be causing you problems.

Let me know via a comment or email me directly at wendythornburg@yahoo.com. I’m pretty quick at responding.

  20. lauren says:

Loooove the yo gabba gabba patterns!!! My friend sent me the link to foofah & I saw muno, brobee & the start of plex is there a toodee?? Or will there be??

    • wmthornb says:

      Lauren:

Thank you so much. Plex is actually almost done. I know I’ve said that for awhile, but I promise I just need to finish his legs, hands and feet.

As for toodee, I feel I must do it to complete the set so it will eventually be up here. They take so long to finish that I have to mix in other projects while I go or I will get bored and never finish them.

      Wendy

  21. Katie Thull says:

I’m new at reading patterns for crochet…so I’m having a hard time reading the pattern for the devil horns. Is there any way you could simplify it for me? I’m not sure what an increase is, or where you link or where you turn? Thanks!

    • wmthornb says:

      Katie:

Thanks for visiting. An increase in crochet is two single crochet stitches in one stitch. There are no turns in this pattern and no joining stitches. It is worked in the round like amigurumi.

Hope that helps. If you have more questions, please let me know.

      Wendy

      • Carla says:

Hi, Wendy, could this pattern be modified to make a beanie for a 10 year old? #devilbeanie in pink is what my kiddo wants

      • drunkenauntwendy says:

Sorry for the delay, I don’t know why my page isn’t letting me know when people comment. You can modify it. I would check the gauge and then standard sizing for a 10 year old and increase the stitches to get that size. A pink devil beanie would be really cute.

  22. Brsndi says:

Where you ever able to finish plex? I love your patterns for yo gabba gabba and can’t wait to finish the set. Well minus one lol. Plus plexus is my daughters favorite. Thanjs tor all the great large patterns!

    • wmthornb says:

      Brandi:

I actually have it almost done. I am working on the feet now. I keep having to set it aside and work on smaller items for my craft fairs. It will be up. I just can tell you when.

      Wendy

  23. Connie says:

    Too cute, love it!

  24. Cj says:

    She is cute =>

  25. Sara says:

I love this pattern! Thanks for sharing it. What size hook did you use?

    • wmthornb says:

I use an E hook for all my stuffed creatures. Just make sure yours is small enough that the stitches are tight so the stuffing peeks out.

Thanks for the compliment. I’d love to see any finished item.

      Wendy

      • Neel Gause says:

cute crab, but the things you called antenna are actually the crabs eyes, and the spot where you added eyeballs is where their mouth parts belong.

  26. vickie weidman says:

I just finished making brobee for my little grandson who is 3 1/2 yrs. old and plan on giving it to him for Easter. It turned out so cute, and I know he will love it, especially the size. I look for amigurumi patterns all the time also. I wonder if you have the pattern finished for plex and tootie, the fox looking one. I am getting ready to start muno next. Thank you so much for sharing your patterns, it makes it so much easier for people like me. You do such a beautiful job capturing these characters. God bless you, 😉

    • wmthornb says:

I bet he will love it. I will keep working on the other two. Hopefully, I will get them done eventually.

      • vickie weidman says:

so you are still working on plex? and I’m not sure of the blue fox looking one? Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from you when you are finished. Thanks again, Vickie… 🙂

  27. Amanda says:

My son is a huge bacon fan. I have to limit the amount Of “I Love Bacon” shirts he buys at ten years old. So this is the ultimate scarf for him.

  28. Amber says:

Hi there! I am making this tote for Mother’s day! My mom just loves sunflowers! I am just wondering which side of the bag is supposed to be the “right side”? I can’t really tell from the pictures! I assume the back loop crochets are supposed to form a sort of design (and therefore that is the right side), but also I have a section where you can see staggering where I have moved up with each round. Very cute bag-can’t wait to finish up and give it to my Mom!

    • wmthornb says:

The back loops should form the edge on the base so it goes from the bottom up to the side pattern. I hope that helps. Your mom is going to love it.

  29. EnterTAYned says:

This is adorable. I will have to try making one!

  30. laurenrowe01 says:

I made this pattern with a slightly bigger needle (size G) and he ended up huge! He was easily as big as the two year old I made him for. It was pretty awesome to present her with a life-sized Brobee. Thanks.

  31. cakemix says:

this has got to be the best thing ever! thank you xxx

  32. Kathy Bartholomew says:

    HI Wendy,
I have questions for you. The connectors between claws and body? What is that? How many stitches is in row 2 of the white of the eyes?

I have a customer looking for a crab for a barbecue she is having and would like me to make one for her. Your pattern and design seems easy enough to make, and it is very cute.

Thank You for posting the pattern.

    • wmthornb says:

      Kathy,

The connectors are like the legs that attach the claws to the body. There are 12 stitches in the second row of eyes. You do a normal increase and then do two hdc in the same stitch, then a normal increase and repeat.

Hope that helps. Please send any completed photos. I’m trying to set up a photo gallery of completed projects.

If you have any other questions, pleae let me know.

      Wendy

  33. I can’t wait to make these for my grandkids. I look forward to seeing Toodee and Plex. These are AMAZING!!

  34. jessy cubaz says:

on step 3 for the legs, i was wondering whats BLO?

  35. Lisa says:

Hello I love your pattern thank you so much for sharing I have started on it but am having problem on the body and was wondering if u could help… So after the sc and it say you should have 66 the next rnd says u should have 70 but I end up with 72 please help and thanks

    • wmthornb says:

      Lisa,

I would just do two spaced out decreases rather than starting over. It won’t show and it will get you back on track with the numbers.

      Wendy

  36. katie o says:

I love this, I recently decided to make my niece a Bacon scarf, but the only ones out there were a huge intarsia chart or they were just striped. This one has great texture and is only two colors, but the two.strands together rows are genius. I am working on it with a brownish red chunky yarn and an off white tan-ish Homespun. It’s looking great, ill have to email you a picture when its done! There’s several site which have compiled Bacon scarf patterns, and your pattern isn’t on any of them, but then this one is much more recent. Great work, I love it!!!!!

    • wmthornb says:

I’m so glad you like it. I like that it allows for a lot of flexibility. You can make it thick or thin and change the colors up at random. Please send me a photo when you finish. I am trying to develop a reader made section so people can see how other’s projects have turned out.

  37. Britni says:

Thanks for the great pattern! “My Brobee” turned out HUGE, really don’t know what I did “wrong” but my son is in love.
    http://www.stitchinglilies.com/my-brobee/

  38. you should adapt for bigger babys i have a 1 year old and a 3 year old would love one for either!

  39. I noticed some errors. HEAD: round 8: SC 2, inc.
If I do “sc, inc, sc” the stitch count doesn’t match.
    And where are rounds 17-19?

    • wmthornb says:

      Hilla:

In Round 8, (SC, INC, SC) is 4 stitches done 6 times will equal 24 stitches. You can do (2SC, INC) if you want. I do it this way so there isn’t a spiral indicating the increase stitches on the finished product.

As for 17-19 – the numbering program on my ipad decided to skip some lines and I didn’t notice it until now. Thank you for pointing it out.

      Wendy

  40. Brandi Pifer says:

LOVE this! My son is asking for him so I’ll be starting. Wondering if you finished Plex yet… He was looking pretty great from what I saw. Would love to work on him as well.

    • Carole says:

Hi there, any news when an adult hat for lego will be available? hope your move home went well x

  52. Caresse Heitzman says:

Hi Wendy, I have a couple of questions regarding this pattern. I love it btw, I love that it looks like real bacon rather than just a ripple scarf in red and white.
First question- Do you only need one ball of each color of yarn? You don’t list a quantity in your supply list.
Second question- In rows 10 and 18, you say to switch to hook E, but your supply list calls for a G and H hook, no mention of an E.
Could you clarify this to me in an email please? I really appreciate it. Also about how long is the scarf once its done?
    Thanks again,
    Caresse

  53. sandy says:

do you have this pattern available?

  54. Kristen says:

I adore this. Thank you for being so generous and sharing your porky genius!

  55. Barb says:

What is the size of the finished crab?

  56. Theresa says:

Hi Wendy, I am progressing well with my first hedgehog BUT I’m stuck at Row 23-25 where it says repeat Row 25?? A typo I think, so which row do I repeat? Please help, I’m so close to the end : ( , thanks

  57. Amanda says:

LOVE! I’ve been looking for a Brobee pattern for my son who will be 2 soon. I made him a Muno already! AND WE LOVE HUGE! lol!

  58. Anne says:

Oh my god this is so cool! It isn’t like a lot of other bacon patterns that just have stripes or whatever, this ACTUALLY looks like a strip of bacon. I think I’ll have to make this for my meatatarian friend for her birthday, haha. Great pattern!

  59. Beth says:

Wow this will be much more complicated than the scarves and blankets I have made in the past, however my grandson will love it. I hope I am up to the challenge.
Thanks for your creativity and generosity!!!

  60. Teresa says:

Love it..I want to make a herd of them..LOL…Thanks

  61. Aysha says:

Can’t wait till the pattern is available. 🙂

  62. melissa says:

on the top row 17 where it says sc top to bottom..Wha does top to bottom mean? I have never heard that term

  63. Roxanne Begrand says:

I am just wondering, how much wool is needed for the main bag part (green) for the “Handy Crochet Tote” pattern?

  64. read somewhere that bacon is the meat most vegetarians stray for! I believe it. not a big meat eater… but bacon…. ummmmm

  65. Brenda says:

I am going to start this today, but am going to switch up the colors. Do not have enough of any of my greens to do it and do not want to go out in the cold. He is going to be a big mishmash of colors. We will see how he turns out.

  66. Tiffany says:

Do you happen to have a Brutus hat pattern similar to this available? This is so cute. Thanks for sharing.

  67. Irma says:

Ladies I need help with the instructions for head and body Can any one explain to me how to do since you finish with no problem, please ,please….
    Gratefully appreciate .
    Irma

    • wmthornb says:

      Irma:

Are you having trouble with the oval shape? Let me know what exactly you are having trouble with and I’ll be happy to help.

      Sincerely,

      Wendy

  68. Irma says:

    Wendy,is the instructions I don’t understand like row 1-[sc18(inc,sc)3 times]twice
I can’t figure out . can you explain how to do this,in plain English and no brackets ,if you can explain I think I understand the next rows.
    Thanks a lot .
    Irma

  69. Irma says:

So you did first 18 sc,then increase 1sc 3 times in the same row and then you did another row the same .
    Irma

    • wmthornb says:

You continue the stitches around on the other side. The set up row had you crocheting 18 into your start chain, making three stitches in the last chain. Then you use the unused loops from the start chain (the reverse side) and repeat. Both sides of the set up chain are used.

How did you do your set up row, as I think that might be the issue?

      Wendy Sent from my iPhone

  70. Julie says:

All I can say is, I don’t get it. I have been crocheting for over 40 yrs and this just don’t add up. That is probably why that one woman’s Brobee turned out so big. She had to play with the stitches to make it right in the corners.

    • wmthornb says:

Brobee is supposed to be huge. He is almost 3 feet tall when finished. I would be happy to make the pattern clearer if there is a specific question to tell me what the problem is. The patterns are offered for free and I don’t have testers. Comments with specific problems or issues help me and others with the patterns. Comments like this are counterproductive.

  71. jujube1960 says:

OK…so on the area for the head where it says 30 rows sc with spring green is that 30 more rows or continue from row 12

  72. jujube1960 says:

    Awesome. Thank you

  73. One question. In the pattern there is a g hook and an h hook. It says e hook on Row 10. Is that supposed to be G?

  74. Elisahbeth says:

is this pattern done, I’ve already made the other three you have done and they turned out awesome waiting for this one

    • wmthornb says:

I am so glad you like the other patterns. My lift went a little topsy turvy lately and I haven’t had much of a chance to crochet. I also have kids now through marriage and they are a bit old for Yo Gabba Gabba. I have it on my list of things to do. Sadly, I never seem to have any time to crochet. I want the full set so I will get to it. I promise to post it here as soon as it is done.

      • Aysha Awan says:

GOD willing u be able to have some free time to crochet… I too am waiting, and I will wait as long as it takes….. 85. […] After mastering how to crochet in the round and finishing the first hat I began making the first baby hat. The red one with a buckeye and leaves. This one took me about an hour to do for just the hat portion. The buckeye and leaves didn’t take too long either. I used this tutorial for the hat and made it the 3-6 month old size. The tutorial was very detailed and easy to understand! To make the leaves and buckeye use the pattern located here. […]

  86. Carole Donovan says:

Hello, sorry to keep on, but any adult hat available now please? x

  87. Carri says:

Awesome scarf! How much yarn did yours take? Sorry if I have overlooked that part.

What type of yarn is used for this pattern?

  94. What size crochet hook? I can’t wait to get started.

    • wmthornb says:

I usually use an E hook when doing stuffed creatures to make sure that the stitches are nice and tight and the stuffing doesn’t come out. Have fun.

  95. Kimberly says:

What hook do you begin the project with. I see towards the end where you switch hooks, but not sure which to begin with. I am assuming H?

I’m sorry I was MIA for a while. Finishing off in crochet is easy. Cut your yarn and pull it through the open stitch to secure it.

      Have fun,

    Great patterns. Love your site

  101. Sara Beth says:

This is my first attempt at Amigurumi and I’m confused. Is this worked in the round? And can you do it with the magic ring process instead if it is in the round? And do you chain any between the rows? Thanks!!

    • wmthornb says:

      Sara Beth:

This project is worked in the round. I personally do not like the magic ring, but it is perfectly fine if you want to start your project that way. Do not chain between rounds. You will work in a continuous spiral around the body. The loop stitch shows on the wrong side of the fabric so when you are doing Helga’s quills, you will need to turn the project around. It says so in the pattern. Good luck and let me know if you have more questions.

      Wendy

  102. Deana says:

Thank you so much for the pattern? How many skeins does it take of each color and do you just change the color sequence at random? Thanks a lot!

    • wmthornb says:

I used less than one of each. If you want your bacon to be your own individual scarf, feel free to change the colors at random. I wrote down in the pattern when I changed them.

      Enjoy.

  103. Ditte says:

Hi Wendy, Thanks for sharing your pattern on Mr. Sniffles. As a biochemist, I think he is adorable!! The chart was easy to follow – the biggest challenge was to get the ‘vings’ symmetrically stitched onto the virus. I wrote about him on my blog – and linked to your blog for the details 😉

  104. CS says:

What an awesome pattern! Thank you so much for posting it, I’m going to make one for my nephew!

  105. Beth says:

I just finished all my increases in the head and I’m starting on my rounds. After seeing all the comments about being confused on the increases, I thought I’d share a tip that worked for me. Mark the first increases at each end of the work with a contrasting yarn scrap or stitch marker. This will help you realize where those first stitches are so when you come back around you know where to put your next increases. I only had to do this for the first few rounds….then it was all counting! I hope this helps! Thank you so much for the free pattern! I can’t wait to finish this and give it to my daughter for her 2nd birthday!

Ok I have one question on row 4 you finish with 216 Sts. Which I have. So if I sc the first 2sts then do the () part which is 20 sts. In () then sc 9, then 3sc in next st, then sc in last st. Iam only using 213 sts and I have left over at end of row. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks. I love the pattern be the way.

      • drunkenauntwendy says:

I would just SC the last couple of stitches. It was a really free form pattern. I never tested it. Any time you run into left over stitches, just SC them.

  109. Anja says:

Beautiful yarn – and such a sweet husband! Happy Birthday 🌹🎉🎈

  110. Cheryl says:

Is there a video for this pattern? If so can you tell me where to look cause I’m stuck.

  111. SO AWESOME! I had some of Vanna’s Choice new Brick color, and it looks super awesome! Once I take better pics I’ll send them. Next one I’m going to do the “curly fat” rows on both sides. It’s super great as it is, but I love that you can make a whole bunch and have them all be slightly different. Just like real slices of bacon!

I also wanted a “fluffier” fabric, so I used the hook size suggested on the skein (J) for the single yarn rows, and a size N for two. Not that I needed to use one that big to handle both strands, but I like the way the bigger stitches look placed in the middle of the bacon. 🙂

  118. Julie says:

I’m kind of confused on round 10… I’ve never made a loop stitch before.. I know it says that all Increases are loops unless otherwise specified, but if I do that on round 10, it kinda looks wierd. Maybe I’m doing something wrong?

    • wmthornb says:

Make sure that your have turned it so the wrong side is facing. The loop stitch goes out. And I think you may be talking about the (4sc, inc) section. Those are not loop stitches. Thank you for letting me know it was unclear. There will be a flat set of stitches on the bottom so it lays flat and the loop stitches are around the sides and top. I will make a note to edit this and make it clearer.

  119. Julie says:

    Ok. Thank you 🙂

    • wmthornb says:

The small claw is crocheted to the large claw. You crochet around the large claw and then the small one. You then just continue in the round. There will be a tiny hole that you will need to sew up later.

      I hope this helps.

    • drunkenauntwendy says:

      Marilyn:

SC in the 2nd chain from hook. Sc in each of the next two stitches, 3 SC in the 5th chain, turn SC in 3 of the stitches on the reverse side and then 3 SC in the beginning loop. This gives you an oval to start with. 3 stitches on each end with 3 stitches on each side in between the ends. Hope this helped.

  238. Melanie Goody says:

I’m having trouble with round 8 in the legs. The count doesn’t add up?

    • drunkenauntwendy says:

Round 7 has 8 stitches. If you do two decreases in the first 4 stitches, you will have 4 stitches left which is enough to do a SC, 2 INC and a SC.

Where exactly are you having an issue?

      • Melanie Goody says:

I think I was only decreasing 2, not doing 2 decreases. So I was working over 2 stitches not 4!

      • drunkenauntwendy says:

That would make it hard. Glad you figured it out.

  239. Christie Telep says:

    Hi!
I’m working on this vulpix pattern and it has been super. However, I’m up to the tail and I’m very confused about how to make the tail curls. I’m sure it’s user error, but is there another way you could explain 3SC to row 3? Thanks so much!

    • drunkenauntwendy says:

You will actually go to row three and SC into three stitches to make the curl, then back to the row you were working. If you don’t like this part or continue to have difficulty, you can make it straight and sew the curl in.

  240. Lisa Stump says:

Hello Wendy! I was looking at your Brutis from Ohio State. The pattern that I was looking at didnt say once what size crochet needle that I needed to use?

    • drunkenauntwendy says:

I use an E, but you can use whatever size makes your stitches tight enough to keep the stuffing in. A larger hook, will result in a larger finished toy.

Hi! love this pattern so far, but can you please explain the plaiting on the tail? what are the unworked loops? how many should i have? what should it look like when i’m done? also, how should i sc the opening together? thanks!

    • drunkenauntwendy says:

Starting in Row 36 you do a few rows in the Back loops only. The unworked loops are the remaining loops in those rows. You will have six rows of plating. It will look like a row of ruffles going down the back of the piece.

To sc an opening together, you fold the opening in half and SC through both stitches to close it.

Hi! I’m not sure if I have the right amount of stitches in the body. At row 13 I have 48 stitches, at 35 I have 36 stitches. At the rows 32 and 34 I had to add an extra SC between DEC.
Sorry my English, it’s not my first language.

    • drunkenauntwendy says:

This is an untested version of the tested pattern. Row 13 you should have 48 stitches. Row 35 you should have 36 stitches

  302. anaanag says:

Hello! How many stitches should I have at rows 13 and 35 of the body? Mine has 48 at row 13 and 36 at row 35.
Also, at the plating on tail, the ruffles should be aligned with the opening of the body that I SC together? (sorry for my English)

  322. Suze says:

One of the poorest written patterns I’ve ever used. The increases make no sense. Round 1 is 18 stitches. Round 2 states 6 SC and 1 increase. It doesn’t work. 3 x 6 is 18. The way it’s written, it would require 21 stitches in round 1, not 18. I had to refigure every round.

    • drunkenauntwendy says:

So, I am wondering if you missed the part of the pattern that said to repeat the part in brackets.

You may have issues with how the pattern is showing on your device.

The actual text of Round 2 is – Round 2: [6 SC, (INC) 3 times] repeat bracket one more time [24].

This would make Round 2 written out as – SC, SC, SC, SC, SC, SC, INC, INC, INC, SC, SC, SC, SC, SC, SC, INC, INC, INC which equals 24 stitches. For an oval, I place the increases on the sides with the Single crochet in between. This continues for the next few rounds where the increases are on the sides and there are 6 increases per round.

If you missed the repeat that would make it hard.

But you are being rather mean about a free pattern.

  323. LeAnn says:

I’m confused about the tails. It just ends with “Join with SL ST, Fasten Off.
Sew overlapping to bottom of lobster tail.” I have a long, skinny cone with an open end. So I close the end somehow? Do I sew it on with the open end or the pointy end facing away from the body? There’s no picture that shows the tail, so I can’t figure out how the tails work.

    • drunkenauntwendy says:

Fold closed. Don’t stuff. Sew straight/open side to the edge of tail with the pointy end facing away.

  325. […] Other cork ornaments, Leia Cork, Wario Cork, Wednesday Addams Cork, Mickey Mouse Ears Cork, Chicken Cork, and Bunny Cork. […]

  326. Ella Edwards says:

I am confused on the base of the claws. Where do I start the stitch? When it says join stitch does that mean I am joining the large claw with the small claw? Which side is the far side? Am I crocheting in the stitches of the claws?

    • drunkenauntwendy says:

You are crocheting around the parts of the claw. Big one, then little one. This makes one piece to finish the project. I go down one side of the big claw, then do the little claw and go back to the big claw. You will crochet into the stitches of the claw.

  327. Johanna says:

I’m confused by this section of the base:
    3-7. SC Rows
    4. *3sc, dec* around, sc remaining stitches (should be 3)
    5. SC row
    6. *2sc, dec* around sc remaining stitches
    7. SC row

Rows 3-7 are SC rows, but then the next row is row 4 after completing row 3-7? Thank you for this adorable pattern.
