Free Pattern Tuesday – Lego Person Newborn Baby Hat

Knitted lego newborn hat pattern

20120228-201125.jpg

I love Legos, but often feel I’m to old to play with them. The next best thing is making Lego creations out of yarn.

This is a pretty easy knit pattern. I hate working in the round unless I use double pointed needles and that can be tedious. It’s made in one piece and seamed in the back. The decorations/face are made in crochet and then sewn on.

Happy Knitting and as always contact me if you have questions.

Free Pattern Tuesday – Polar Bear Hat

Crocheted polar bear baby hat pattern

This wasn’t originally what I planned on posting this week, but it is really cute. It’s worked back and forth on straight needles in garter stitch so it’s a good beginner project. The yarn does all the work. Make sure to check your gauge before starting so the hat fits correctly.
