Sergeant Spinner – Free Pattern

Crochet Spider Pattern

Not one of my mini-monsters, but spiders scare the crap out of me.

This might be one of the scariest things I ever made. Those eyes, those legs… EEEEK!

Enjoy this free pattern. Let me know if you like him or if you have problems. Make sure to use #drunkenauntwendy if you post a picture on Instagram.

Mini-monsters are being typed and will be put up as they are completed.

Gauge is not important for this project. If you have purchased the kit, it is important to use the right size hook  in order to ensure you have enough yarn.
Note – this project is worked in continuous rounds. Do not join the rounds.

Notes: Almost the entire project is worked in the round. Use a stitch marker or a scrap piece of yarn to mark the beginning of each row. Then you don’t have to count every row. Do not join unless instructed to.

Parentheses indicate a repeat. Repeat the stitches in the parentheses for the number of times indicated.

The bracketed number [] is the number of stitches at the end of each row.

I spread my increases out so there isn’t a seam on the finished piece. If you do not like this method, you can do regular increases.

Freddy Krueger – Free Pattern

Freddy Krueger Crochet

I’ve been working on these absolutely adorable mini monsters.

Mini Monster
These pots don’t need to be watered.

I love scary movies and October is fast approaching. Nightmare on Elm Street is one of my favorites. Freddy Krueger is scary and funny all at once. My favorite kind of movie villain.

While they don’t have to be in pots, they certainly look cute in these little 2.5″ terra cotta pots. The finished ones are about 5 inches tall.

As I have mentioned before, the below pattern isn’t tested. If you have problems or issues, please let me know. If you make him, use #drunkenauntwendy so I can find your work on Instagram and give you love.

Sparky and Frostina – Free Pattern

Free Crochet Monster Pattern

Free Crochet Monster Pattern

I think these two might be my favorite. The pictures don’t show how sparkly she is. I also love their expressions and striped arms. Since they are hot and cold, Katy Perry music runs through my head when I look at them.

Look at all this sparkly hair.

dsc_9238.jpg

I also love how long I made the arms.

Free Pattern – Mr. Sniffles

Free crochet cold virus pattern

It’s Mr. Sniffles. He’s the cold you want to catch. Mr. Sniffles is based on the microscopic view of the cold virus. At our house, we like to play Catch a Cold. (Hot potato with a cold virus). If you make him make sure to #drunkenauntwendy so I can find it and give you lots of love.

I have made other microbes; Mr. Sa – the MRSA super bug and Anthrax the cutest little biohazard along with Clem and Lydia Chlamydia, and Eggbert the Chicken Pox. Want to make Mr. Sniffles, but don’t have the supplies? There’s a kit for that.

That full time job of mine really gets in the way of my crafting. It keeps me in yarn, that’s probably why I stay.

This pattern was up at my shop, but it hasn’t been purchased yet so I decided to take it down. It’s one of my favorites so enjoy.

BTW if you can’t find a 30mm eye you can embroider one on instead.

Remember if you make your own, use #drunkenauntwendy so I can find it.

Free Pattern Tuesday – Blue Angry Bird

Crocheted Blue Angry Bird Pattern

20120124-201244.jpg

20120124-200926.jpg

I’m slightly addicted to Angry Birds. That’s putting it mildly. I like to sit in court and play while I wait my turn, which can take hours. Being a lawyer is boring.

You have a red bird and a pig, now toss a blue one into mix.

Have fun!

Free Pattern – Red Angry Bird

Crocheted plush red angry bird

This wasn’t my original plan for today, but the weather has been so crappy I haven’t been able to get outside and get a decent photo of the tote bag pattern I was going to list today. I’ve decided to leave this one up forever. There are a lot of Angry Bird Patterns out there. If you post a picture of your completed Red Angry Bird, please use #drunkenauntwendy so I can find it and give you lots of likes.

Here’s the pattern. Enjoy.

If you want to make more there are patterns for Angry Birds in Blue, black and  Yellow.

There are also patterns for a helmet pig and a green pig.

Foofa Crochet Pattern – Free

Crocheted plush foofa large

Here is likely my last Yo Gabba Gabba pattern. I tried Plex, but my Chihuahuas ate my notes and I doubt I will start over again.

Muno and Brobee are available.

Reminder, these suckers are enormous. Foofa is approximately 3 feet tall. She takes a lot of yarn.

If you make her, let me know either via email or #drunkenauntwendy.
