Free Pattern – Handy Crochet Tote

Crochet market tote pattern with sunflower

20120207-202134.jpg

I have been trying to get this pattern up for awhile, but I’m never home during the daylight hours. I really wanted to get the picture outside. This is the best alternative I could come up with. I really prefer natural light, but I think the colors are fairly well represented. You can attach any flower. I like this sunflower, but you might want to check out Micah Makes and her interchangeable big button flower. You can find it here,.

Free Pattern Tuesday – Polar Bear Hat

Crocheted polar bear baby hat pattern

This wasn’t originally what I planned on posting this week, but it is really cute. It’s worked back and forth on straight needles in garter stitch so it’s a good beginner project. The yarn does all the work. Make sure to check your gauge before starting so the hat fits correctly.

Free Pattern Tuesday – Blue Angry Bird

20120124-200926.jpg

I’m slightly addicted to Angry Birds. That’s putting it mildly. I like to sit in court and play while I wait my turn, which can take hours. Being a lawyer is boring.

You have a red bird and a pig, now toss a blue one into mix.

Have fun!

Devil baby hat – free pattern Tuesday

Knitted Devil Baby Hat pattern

20120109-232600.jpg

I’m both a knitter and a crocheter and I like to combine both elements in patterns. This hat is a reflection of that. It’s only sized for itty, bitty babies right now and is probably only suitable for newborns or as a photography prop. There is a corresponding Diaper Cover.

Enjoy and hey I got it up on time. That Dexter marathon this weekend was good for something.

If you post use #drunkenauntwendy so I can find it.

Free Pattern Tuesday (a day late) Brutus the Buckeye

Crocheted Brutus the Buckeye Pattern

20111228-204431.jpg

Being from Central Ohio, it is almost a requirement to be an Ohio State Buckeye fan. I can’t say that I am, but most of my extended family is. This year for the family gift exchange, I thought there should be a plush Brutus, to love, and squeeze. This was the end result.

Let me know if you find any problems with the pattern.

Sneak Preview of Tuesday 12/27’s new free pattern

Crocheted Brutus the Buckeye Pattern

Merry Christmas to everybody. I hope everyone had a wonderful time with family and friends this holiday season.

I have a lot of Ohio State Buckeye fans in my family, so this year I decided to put a Brutus the Buckeye in the family gift exchange.

20111225-230425.jpg

I need to put some finishing touches on my pattern, it’ll be up on Tuesday when I get off work.

Free Pattern – Red Angry Bird

Crocheted plush red angry bird

This wasn’t my original plan for today, but the weather has been so crappy I haven’t been able to get outside and get a decent photo of the tote bag pattern I was going to list today. I’ve decided to leave this one up forever. There are a lot of Angry Bird Patterns out there. If you post a picture of your completed Red Angry Bird, please use #drunkenauntwendy so I can find it and give you lots of likes.

Here’s the pattern. Enjoy.

If you want to make more there are patterns for Angry Birds in Blue, black and  Yellow.

There are also patterns for a helmet pig and a green pig.
